For years Pace levy has developed hybrid imaging
systems to meet a variety of needs and requirements. We have
developed systems to view ice formation on aircraft wings to
high speed images of a golf club striking a ball. The requirements
of each experiment is unique, however the underlying principal
of acquiring validated and publishable data remains the same.
Pace Levy is committed to provide our clients with superior performance
and to do whatever it takes to meet the goals and requirements
of each experiment.
Below is brief description of some imaging systems and components
we have developed or included in our experimental designs.
Hardware-Software Integration
We have developed imaging systems that required control by
computers. Control was either to move a component, such as
a camera, or to provide control over the image acquisition,
such as only acquiring images that have something that has
changed in its field of view.
Data acquisition components have been included with some of
our imaging system to capture temperature variation, and rotational
speed. Integration of these systems required software development
combined with software to control camera components and other
acquisition systems. Real-time analysis of data was performed
to precisely control the acquisition of images at a given time
frame.
Types of Imaging Systems
We are proficient in many types of components from video
systems to infrared cameras. We have expertise in high speed
imaging in both film and digital based camera systems. We have
developed high speed systems in excess of 150, 000 frames/sec
to low speed system at 100 frames/sec. We have also developed
specialized time-lapse systems to acquire images unattended
for weeks or months.
We have also developed infrared 3D laser scanning systems to
scan ice shapes and render them in three dimensions for analysis
and output to a rapid prototyping machine.
Our personnel have experience in developing microscopy imaging
systems for the medical industry. Micro-controlled piezo positioning
stages and robotic and motion controls were used to provide analysis
of biological specimens.
Whatever your imaging requirement may be Pace Levy is experienced
and well equipment to tackle your problem and provide a professional
solution.
